Child of the King, Inc. is a non-denominational, non-profit ministry that seeks to provide a shelter for homeless children and youth between theages 7 to 17 . We provide two separate homes for boys and girls who need a place of refuge; a place where they can be cared for until they are either reconciled with their parents or prepared to go into society as functioning adults.
Child of the King has the desire to see relationships restored between the children/youth and their parents, if possible. We will provide guidance counseling, training in life skills, enrolling the children/youth in public school and providing a love that comes from our heavenly Father. All that we do will be based on Biblical principles and a Christian world view.
We provide houseparents, counselors, tutors and fitness instructors for all children/youth in our homes. We are committed to providing a loving home environment which will help these children/youth heal and mature.
How long do the children stay?
The children may need care for just a night or two or up to a year or more depending on the circumstances. However, the average length of stay is around 45 days.
