Child of the King can use volunteer assistance in the following areas:
• Office/clerical
• Grounds keeping and maintenance
• Tutoring children after school
• Serving as a mentor
In addition, volunteers help provide special events, classes and many other enrichment type of activities. Contact the campus location nearest you to discuss what types of things you might be interested in helping with. If you decide that you are able to volunteer please come and fill out our Volunteer Information in person or you e-mail us to request it or bring it to one of our facilties. This form helps us to better understand your interests and provides us with information we need to have on all persons that interact with children in our care. We ask for a lot of information on our volunteers in order to ensure the proper care and safety of all of our children.
We have two different information forms. The long form is for individuals that plan to volunteer on an ongoing basis and will have frequent contact with our children. The short form is for individuals that plan to volunteer for a onetime event.
